Keeping up the environment for ICT education projects

Since 2018, we have been installing servers with digital e-learning contents and creating better environment to effectively conduct by accessing them from a computer as a part of the ICT education project in public schools in Lalitpur Metropolitan City. Currently, the project has reached the implementation in 11 schools in the city. In addition, in 2023, we newly supported six schools in remote municipalities in the west and southwest of Nepal, and the project is now being implemented in 17 schools across Nepal. More than six years have passed since the project was initiated, and we have found that the some of equipment deteriorated, and many accessories was damaged or lost. As a result, we have replaced defective computers (81 units), displays (18 units), keyboards (14 units), purchased mouse (52 units), and repaired headphones (235 units). This has enabled children to continue enjoying learning with digital contents in the future.
