Development of digital educational applications for children with hearing or visual impairments

We continue to engage in an initiative of providing digital learning materials (sign language and digital books for voice reading for children with hearing or visual impairments) with a goal of leaving no one behind in education. We have developed an application that reads Nepali books with an optical character reader and automatically generates data formats so that it enable PC to read aloud and display on display itself. This initiative has been highly evaluated by the Nepal Association for the Welfare of the Blind (NAWB). The content is open, so it can be used in schools other than the ones we support.
