Wireless LAN pilot project in the Kingdom of Cambodia

The Foundation has supported the construction of schools around the country in Cambodia in cooperation with NGO (JRfC) since 2005, and the Foundation has also built wireless LAN networks in the following KDDI schools as part of the special education support so that Cambodian children can use the Internet.

In addition, the Foundation installed wireless LAN stations at most of the clinics in the neighboring Angk Snuol District, and has been implementing/supporting the stations as a pilot project of remote medical care by setting up the wireless LAN stations of KDDI schools as hub stations and connecting them with a general hospital in Phnom Penh.
